House of Newark Designs (HND) is a full-service interior design firm offering a wide range of services from new construction, remodeling + renovations, home additions, custom furniture solutions, lighting plans, window treatment designs, styling & accessory sourcing for residential properties & vacation homes.

I received my Design degree from Ferris State University in Michigan and have decades of project management & design production experience. Before opening my own interior design firm, I worked in digital advertising & marketing for global ad agencies & Fortune 500 clients.

When I was younger, I worked for my aunt & uncle who were both interior designers. Early in her career my aunt would travel to England to expand her knowledge & expertise in antiques and accessorizing for her clients. My uncle’s style was effortless and classic. When I started my own firm, I would come to realize how much they had taught me and how much their design style influenced me and is reflected in my designs today.

I grew up in the Midwest and also lived in Boston for many years. So my approach to interior design reflects a casual coastal transitional style juxtapositioned with modern eclectic. Living near the Great Lakes and the Atlantic has always been a big inspiration for my personal aesthetic.

I work in-person or virtually via eDesign - however clients are most comfortable. I’m dedicated to creating the most beautifully designed spaces for my clients the same way that my aunt & uncle did decades ago. Designing spaces that bring clients’ visions and aspirations to fruition through a collaborative & stress free experience is my goal every day.
